RIVER NORTH—Word is that Aja inside the Dana Hotel will close to make way for a Rodelio Aglibot-helmed project that will focus on American cuisine with an oyster bar. If this is true, it's great to have Aglibot back in action. [312DD]
WICKER PARK—It took a while to finally open, which it did last April, but sadly Real Naked Food, an organic-leaning grocer on Division, has closed its doors. Apparently all the signs have been removed and windows are papered over. [WPBIG]
OAK PARK—Crumbs is opening a new location and you know what that means: free cupcakes! The party begins at noon on Saturday Jan. 7 at 1100 Lake Street and they'll be giving away 1000 cupcakes. This marks Crumbs' fifth Chicago opening in about a year. [EaterWire]
LOGAN SQUARE—Swing by the two-year-old Brand BBQ Market every Tuesday for $19.95 turducken dinner, which includes cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, spiced cranberries and gravy. Make a reservation as the restaurant just joined OpenTable. [EaterWire]
IN THE MEDIA—The 2012 installment of the Saveur 100 has come out and it includes local music producer Steve Albini's food blog, Mario Batalivoice, has made the cut. [Saveur]
