Get out of the snow and stay warm and toasty on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the first annual Lincoln Square Winter Brew. Five local breweries will be on hand to keep the taps flowing at the Dank Haus from 7 to 11 p.m. Participating breweries include 5 Rabbit, Half Acre, Metropolitan, Finch and Revolution as well as Fountainhead and The Grafton, which will design a special food menu to pair with the beers.
The winners of the Home Brew Competition with entries ranging from a wide variety of brewing categories will also be announced during the festival. The entry fee for the festival is $10 plus extra for tickets that can be exchanged for beer and food. More details can be found here. And if things go according to plan, expect to see a larger and longer outdoor event this summer.
