City Winery in West Loop; Tru's Coral Caviar; More

WEST LOOP—Looks like City Winery, which was gunning for a prime State Street location, may have locked in a 28,000 square-foot space on Randolph Street and aims to open in the spring. [Crain's]

STREETERVILLE—After what seems like eons serving their iconic caviar staircase, Tru has made a change. Chef Anthony Martin introduced Coral Caviar, a gorgeous tasting of sturgeon caviar and roe on molded coral with abalone shells. Diners can select from six caviars and three roe, ranging in price from $12 up to $380. And apparently Graham Elliot digs it. [EaterWire]

LINCOLN SQUARE—The German-American/Oktoberfest kicks off tonight at 6 p.m. and begins both Saturday and Sunday at noon. The fest runs until 11 p.m. nightly. You better believe there's lots of beer gonna be drunk. [CSJ]
