Kindelsperger Signs Off Grub Street; Gebert Filling In

New, 1 comment

How's this for a late afternoon surprise: Grub Street Chicago editor Nick Kindelsperger just dropped Eater a note to say today is his last day at the daily food blog. He's staying in Chicago, but said it's just time to move on from his post, which he has held for the last 18 months. As of Monday, Sky Full of Bacon's Mike Gebert will be filling in as the temporary editor, which makes sense since he has guest edited for Kindelsperger recently.

Because of the timing, we thought maybe Kindelsperger would be headed to the Sun-Times to fill that recently opened food critic's post, but he assures us that is not the case. Nick, wherever you land, we wish you the best of luck. It's been great working alongside you.
