Rahm Emanuel Names Today Chef Priscila Satkoff Day

Mayor Rahm Emanuel, has made a formal proclamation: September 29 will be "Chef Priscila Satkoff Day." He’s encouraging all of Chicago to recognize her many achievements and contributions to our great city. The announcement comes as chef Satkoff is being inducted in to the Chicago Culinary Museum, Chef’s Hall of Fame, November 16.

Priscila Satkoff has been running Salpicon for the past 16 years. She’s had national and local acclaim for the restaurant since the opening. Her cookbook, ‘The Salpicon! Cookbook" is a celebration of contemporary Mexican Cuisine.
