Last night on Top Chef Just Desserts, the contestants had to cook with root vegetables in the Quickfire. In the Elimination Challenge, they had to cook for Adam Horowitz (of Beastie Boys fame) and had to use the Beastie Boys' pantry. Which meant desserts with ingredients like pork and beans, mashed potatoes, and a 40-ounce of Brass Monkey malt liquor. [Eater National]
