the-ledbury-london-sm.jpgWhile rioters senselessly burned and looted buildings throughout London, a group attempted to take over a restaurant ... and were run out. When a group of thugs entered the Michelin two-starred The Ledbury in London's Notting Hill neighborhood, kitchen staff fought back "with rolling pins, fry baskets and other dangerous kitchen tools." When looters tried coming back, the staff first ushered diners into locked bathrooms and eventually down into the wine cellar. Maybe a third star is merited? [~E~]
