Edgewater is about to get a new pie spot. Pizza pie, that is. In April, Eater reported that Pete's Pizza would open a new location in the Far North Side nabe, and according to an email that went out over the weekend, the pizzeria will have an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. The event will be led by 48th Ward alderman Harry Osterman, who will officially welcome the new restaurant to the ever-growing Granville corridor.
