Avenues at The Peninsula has begun its search to replace Curtis Duffy, who is leaving in September to start working on opening his own restaurant. But it seems odd that a restaurant of this caliber inside a world-class hotel would go about looking for its chef de cuisine in this manner. Then again, you just never know who reads the want ads.
