EDGEWATER—Norse Bar hopes to to open "for the the first pitch of the World Series," at 6334 N. Clark. After an extensive buildout, the space will have a large selection of craft beers (12 on tap), multiple LCD TVs, games like darts, Megatouch and old school Nintendo. [Edgeville Buzz/Facebook]

SOUTH LOOP—There's been more activity at Burger Point (1900 S. State). The restaurant was scheduled to open this summer, but now it's looking more like early fall. "All is well on the home front, construction from scratch is definitely time consuming," the restaurant wrote on its Facebook page. [South Loop Connection/Facebook]
