First came Papa Ray's. Then Harold's Chicken. Now Uptown may get a Sonic. The North Side nabe, which still hasn't seen much in the way of gentrification, is proposing adding a Sonic drive-in near the somewhat-questionable Wilson/Broadway intersection. The proposed spot would be open 24 hours, have an indoor restaurant, outside drive-in access and Wi-Fi, flat-screens and a fireplace. Some residents are concerned about crime, but the chain said it would employ security. Could this be a good move? What do you think? [Uptown Update]
