On Wednesday, August 24 Chef Bruce Sherman from North Pond will host a special dinner celebrating the modern Midwestern farm-to-table movement as featured in Steve Plotnicki's book, Opinionated About U.S. Restaurants 2011. Sherman has invited four chefs from across the Midwest to join him: Gerard Craft of Niche in St. Louis; Michael Bulkowski of Revolver in Findlay, Ohio; Justin Aprahamian of Sanford in Milwaukee; and Josh Adams of June in Peoria. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and costs $140 per person. Reservations are required.
Each chef will create one course of the menu, which is as follows:
