Third Time's Still Charming for Dose Market

New, 1 comment

Following two hugely successful markets in June and July, Dose Market is back for another round this Sunday and it's looking like it's going to be just as hot as the first two. While last month saw Grant Achatz draw a never-ending two-hour line to get a free Aviary-like cocktail, this weekend will feature Hum creator and Nacional 21 mixologist Adam Seger. Seger will mix up and give out (for free) his Bubby Fizz (Chandon bubbly, fresh OJ, mint and Hum) between 10 and noon.

Come hungry because Hot Chocolate's Mindy Segal will be selling quiche, sweets and iced hot chocolate; Lillie's Q will have pulled pork sandwiches (and their BBQ sauces); and Panozzo's Italian Market will feature house-cured bacon BLTs, farmer's market salads and fresh mozzarella. Rare Tea Cellar will debut Australian winter truffles and will have Dose Extreme Tea (pomegranate Green Dream tea with Anhui wild lime-infused tapioca pearls).

If you need a break before filling up again on sweet and savory pies from Pleasant House Bakery, grab a cup of La Colombe's custom Dose Roast coffee. And the recently opened Brew Camp will be on site showing people how easy it is to brew their own beer at home. And, of course, there will be plenty of fashion and design vendors throughout the market selling everything from vintage accessories to fantastic housewares.

Dose Market lands at River East Art Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. this Sunday. As always, you can get tickets for $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
