Chefs and the City Event Hitting the Ritz July 15

Continuing the parade of fantastic summertime culinary events, Chefs and the City will kick things up a notch as it takes over the Ritz Carlton July 15 to support Vital Bridges, which helps people living with HIV/AIDS. The event, which kicks off at 7 p.m., brings together the worlds of food and fashion, with a fashion show curated by Maria Pinto and a VIP after party starting at 9:30.

The swank walk-around event features 30 of the biggest chefs in Chicago, including Martial Noguier (Bistronomic), Giuseppe Tentori (GT Fish & Oyster), Tony Mantuano (Spiaggia), Brian Huston (The Publican), Todd Stein (The Florentine), Dale Levitski (Sprout), Stephanie Izard (Girl & The Goat), Shawn McClain (Green Zebra) and Ryan Pitts (RL Restaurant), who is also serving as the chef chair for the night. Tickets are still on sale for $250 (VIP tickets are $400) and can be purchased online.
