Has an iconic tiki restaurant shuttered in Chicago for good? According to the Tribune, Trader Vic's looks to have closed, but without any warning. Phil Vettel writes that while he hasn't gotten full confirmation, the doors are locked, the phone is disconnected and the restaurant listing has been removed from the company's official website. The closure comes just a little more than two years after the restaurant opened to mixed reviews after relocating from its longtime location inside the Palmer House in the Loop. [Trib]
