While owner Michael Roper had hoped the build-out would be done by now, the plans to expand Hopleaf have been taking a little longer. Earlier today, Roper said he secured the necessary funds for the project and now is just waiting construction permits from the city. Once that happens, he said it should take three to four months to complete everything. So now it looks like the new side could open late fall or early winter. [EaterWire]
