NRA Show Staying in Chicago; Wild & Greene Opens; More

MCCORMICK PLACE—The National Restaurant Association's annual conference will stay in Chicago, but will take place May 5-8, two weeks earlier than normally scheduled to avoid coinciding with the G8/NATO Summit being organized by Mayor Rahm Emanuel. [Crain's]

SKOKIE—Old Orchard's new restaurant and market, Wild + Greene, soft opened this week. The restaurant, with 18 food stations, opened with abbreviated hours (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) as did the rooftop dining area; the market will open soon.
