How does Rick Bayless spend so much time around food, eat so much and stay in great shape? Portion control. Oh, and a lot of exercise. Bayless, who said he eats 10 meals a week in his restaurants, has been doing yoga for nearly 20 years and does P90X, which gives him an intense, full-body workout. When the 57-year-old chef is on the road, his people know to try to book him at a hotel with a good gym. It's surprising that he was discouraged to stay away from sports and activity as a child, because clearly as an adult it seems ingrained in his lifestyle. Fortunately that obsession doesn't hinder him from eating saying, "I do not want to live in a world without hot fudge sundaes." [Food Republic]
