The Taste on a map

Taste-Map-Grub-Street.jpgIf you go to Taste of Chicago, you likely don't think about how far some of the restaurants travel to get to Grant Park. But Grub Street plots it all out on a map for you and the reach is pretty amazing. Taste of Chicago, despite not having any suburban spots this year, pulls in eateries from all over the city. Interesting point is that of the four farthest spots, three (Eli's Cheesecake, Original Rainbow Cone, JR Dessert Bakery) are all about dessert. Do people on the far reaches of the city only eat sweets? Doubtful, but interesting nonetheless. [Grub Street]
