Chef Frank Brunacci, who opened Sixteen inside the Trump International Hotel & Tower more than three years ago in January of 2008, has parted ways with the property.
Brunacci, who led Sixteen to Michelin star status last year, is leaving to pursue a new project that won't necessarily involve him cooking in a restaurant, a source tells Eater. However, the new endeavor does involve the culinary industry and as more information emerges, we'll bring it to you.
Sixteen is currently looking to fill Brunacci's position and chef de cuisine Joseph Rose will continue to oversee the kitchen's operations in the meantime. Brunacci's last day was Monday.
