When it was first announced that Pinkberry would open in Chicago in early July, the Twitterverse was all a-buzz with excitement. It seems that the chatter will begin again as the California-based fro-yo chain just said it'll open its first-ever Chicago shop on July 8.
To increase the excitement for people who've been waiting for Pinkberry (despite Chicago having plenty of other frozen yogurt outlets), the chain will hold a pre-opening party at the store at 635 N. State Street on July 7 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. where they'll give out free frozen yogurt to everyone who stops in.
As previously reported, Pinkberry is taking over the former 1,200 square foot Berry Chill flagship in River North. The store will be open everyday starting at 11 a.m. and will close at midnight each day, except Friday and Saturday when it'll stay open until 2 a.m.
