Why Eater was down

New, 3 comments

Eater-E-sm-3.jpgIf you tried accessing Eater on Tuesday and couldn't get it to load, thank the FBI. The feds raided a data center in Reston, Va., that housed the Curbed Network's servers and seized a number of machines, despite only targeting those of one company, which was not Curbed. Our tech team worked throughout the night to restore the sites, which should be up and running today. Not all aspects of Eater will work immediately, but should come back throughout the day (we hope). Please send us a note if you are experiencing glitches and explain the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. [NYT]
