Father's Day is coming up this Sunday and the decision of where to take dad to eat can be overwhelming. We've pulled together a variety of choices to appease all dads, from the classic steak and potatoes type to the more adventurous dad and even the dad who prefers something a little more upscale. Check out the list below and enjoy dining out with your pops, if you can drag him away from the grill.
1) Where: Chicago Cut Steakhouse
What: Three-course menu with choices for each course so dad can pick his steakhouse favorites.
When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
How much: $49.95, $25 for children 12 and under. Reservations required.
2) Where: May Street Cafe
What: Allen Brothers rib eye steak and egg special and breakfast buffet.
When: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
How much: a la carte items vary; buffet $24.95, $12.95 for children; $7 mimosas. Reservations recommended.
3) Where: Frontier
What: Buffet featuring smoked whole pig, sides and desserts.
When: 12-3 p.m.
How much: $20; $4 New Belgium Somersault on special. Reservations recommended.
4) Where: The Counter
What: Free burger for dad if you say "BFD" (Burger for Dad)
When: All-day on Sunday
How much: Depends on what you eat; dad's burger is free.
5) Where: The Peninsula
What: Lavish brunch buffet featuring barbeque station with baby back ribs, beef brisket, chicken and slab bacon.

6) Where: Bangers and Lace
What: Every dad gets a complimentary "6 pack," tasting portions of six different drafts from the current draft list.

How much: regular menu; "6 pack" is free for dad.
7) Where: David Burke's Primehouse
What: Each dad that dines in for dinner goes home with lunch for Monday that includes a prime rib sandwich, pasta salad, and oatmeal rhubarb cookie.

What: Specials including passion fruit french toast, tequila lime battered fish tacos, and dad's steak and eggs.

How much: all specials under $10; mojitos are $4 with purchase on any of the specials.

What: Three-course lunch or dinner with stone crabs or filet mignon, with soup, sides and a slice of pie.

How much: $29.95 for lunch, $36.95 for dinner; add a bloody mary for $1. Reservations required.

What: Sunday supper featuring deviled eggs with maple-glazed bacon and pepper basil, Gunthorp Farms fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits, jalapeno slaw, fresh green beans, creamy mac and cheese and choice of dessert.

11) Where: C-House
What: Three-course lunch or dinner with beer pairing: deep fried Walleye with summer vegetable salad, paired with a Goose Island Sofie Belgian-style ale; smoked Swan Creek Farm New York steak with roasted Kennebec potatoes and asparagus, paired with an Arcadia Sky High Rye; malted chocolate cheese cake with cherry chocolate chip ice cream and poached cherries, paired with a Left Hand Brewery Milk Stout.
When: 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; 5:30-10 p.m.
