Just because you read it doesn't make it true. That statement was once again proven correct after a hoax that McDonald's was charging African American customers an additional $1.50 as "an insurance measure" against robberies hit Twitter. Someone snapped a pic and spread it around the Web with the hashtag "#SeriouslyMcDonalds." The Chicago-based corporation responded via the social media platform saying, "That pic is a senseless & ignorant hoax McD's values ALL our customers." Eater National has more. [~E~]
