There's gonna be a whole lotta hogs on the North Side. Don't worry, you won't get caught in a stampede, unless you count the people rushing the food vendor booths. Ribfest kicks off this evening and with 31 different restaurants and 16 rib vendors (including Celtic Crown, Chicago BBQ Company, Pitchfork, Rub BBQ Company and Smoke Daddy), you won't have any shortage of great food to eat. A total of 136 booths will set up shop along Lincoln Avenue north of Irving Park in North Center all weekend.
