We hear that Cibo Matto will morph into Cibo Matto Italian Steak House. When we called general manager Jacob Muyst, he didn't deny the rumor, but said to get in touch with their PR folks, who told us they didn't have any information. Apparently the change was announced to the staff earlier this week and it sounds like they're trying to keep things under wraps. If this is happening, we're curious to see what chef Evan Percoco will do with the menu and how Cibo will compete with all the other steak houses in the city. [EaterWire]
