Now that the Chicago Food Mafia site has been up and running for a little more than a month, some of the city's top chefs and restaurateurs have come out in support of the social media/food review site.
In a new video launched today, the likes of Michael Kornick and David Morton from DMK Burger Bar, Curtis Duffy (Avenues), Jackie Shen (Chicago Cut Steakhouse) Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz from the Boka Restaurant Group, Dion Antic (Porkchop) Giuseppe Tentori (GT Fish & Oyster) and Brandon Baltzley (Tribute) got together to help the Food Mafia crew.
The well-edited video has some fun and cheeky moments, but the bottom line is that these folks honestly seem to like Food Mafia and how it fits in with the Chicago food scene. Sure, at the end of the day, it's a promotional video, but these folks wouldn't lend their name or likeness if they didn't believe in the concept.
