Now that Oprah is officially off the air in the 9 a.m. time slot, something has to launch in its place. This morning Windy City Live premieres and chef Art Smith is one of the first guests. The Table Fifty-Two owner is on set cooking his famous fried chicken, waffles and mac 'n' cheese for new hosts, Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini to welcome them to town. Ever the humble chef, he reminded viewers the chicken is a favorite of Ms. Winfrey and his "new best friend," Lady Gaga. Welcome to town, Windy City Live. [WCL]
