It looks like we might start seeing doughnut shops sprout up as quickly as cupcakes hit the city. First the Doughnut Vault emerged alongside Gilt Bar. Then Scott Harris announced he'd open a small shop called Glaze adjacent to Panza, a new bruschetteria in the former Francesca Forno space. And starting tomorrow morning, Cookie Bar debuts Dirty Betty's inside its Lincoln Park shop.
The pop-up shop will take over the popular cookie place each weekday morning between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. (and between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturdays) and will offer 10 varieties of healthier baked doughnuts, including plain, banana with chocolate nutella glaze, ginger key lime and lemon blueberry, selling between $2 and $2.25 each.
