Taquero Fusion Hits the Road in a Few Weeks

New, 1 comment

With the sun finally shining, it's no surprise that we are seeing a new crop of food trucks popping up. Taquero Fusion will be next to join the fleet, bringing tacos with a Latin twist to the streets of Chicago. Lisette Arroyo and her tight-knit family, with collective experience in the restaurant and catering industries, are behind Chicago's first taco truck. They plan to take the truck out for lunch and dinner service, in addition to catering private events and fundraisers.

Their menu will include a variety of tacos, platters, salads, sides and desserts. Prices will range from $2.50-$10. They also plan to feature a rotating signature taco each week, such as Yucatan Chicken with Peanut-Red Chili BBQ Sauce or Watermelon Pork Tacos in Lettuce Shells. The team currently cooks out of Kitchen Chicago and doesn't have plans to open a storefront restaurant just yet. Follow them on Twitter and on their website for their whereabouts and most up-to-date menu.
