Dion Antic Opening Porkchop; Florentine Does Spring; R.J. Grunts Hanging Late; Brunch Wants Mugs

WEST LOOPDion Antic is opening Porkchop (941 W. Randolph) for late-night dining mid-May. Much like Iggy's was, Porkchop won't be chef driven, rather will serve solid eats, like porkbelly sliders, fried green tomato BLT and, of course, a pork chop. Guest "chefs" (could be friends, neighbors, etc) will occasionally work the line. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWNTodd Stein introduces a new spring menu at The Florentine tomorrow with items like goat cheese pizza with leek and yellow onion; gnocci with ramps and black truffle; English pea ravioli; and whitefish with Sicilian-style pesto, favas and shaved asparagus. [EaterWire]
