Haymarket Cafe Officially Open Inside West Loop Brewery

After having Starbucks as the main early-morning coffee option in the area, West Loopers near Halsted and Randolph just got a jolt: Haymarket Cafe opened its doors this morning. The coffee shop, housed inside Harmarket Pub & Brewery, which opened back in December, will serve Metropolis coffee, Rishi tea and baked goods from Sweet Cakes.

Haymarket Cafe will serve from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and guests can enter through a door on Halsted south of Randolph before 11 a.m. when the pub opens. Owners are hoping to be a hub for Major League Soccer fans as they'll air those early-morning games taking place around the globe. It'll offer free Wi-Fi and patrons can get coffee, including French press, to stay or take away. They're also doing cold-brewed coffee and fresh-brewed iced tea. And if you do come for a soccer game and get your coffee fix, you can then start your other buzz going as Haymarket will have an early-morning liquor license and a full bar available.
