Vertical Green Hub' Planned; Smart Home Opens; More!

LAKEVIEW—A groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday for Unity Green at Gill Park, an ambitious proposal to redevelop the North Side park into a "vertical green hub."

HYDE PARK—With some key contributions from the Andersonville antique shop Sprout and tech blog Gizmodo, the Museum of Science & Industry's Smart Home Green+Wired exhibit is open again, and it's looking prefabulous. Curbed has photos.
