In two unrelated incidents, fast food joints were attacked over the weekend in the Chicago area. On Friday, someone entered an Evanston McDonald's and opened fire, seriously injuring a 16-year-old boy. A handgun had been found nearby and "persons of interest" were being questioned. And on Saturday, a man allegedly tossed a molotov cocktail at a Humboldt Park Burger King. Fortunately it malfunctioned and didn't ignite and no one was hurt. The man was arrested and charged with attempted arson and harassment of a witness; he's being held on $450,000 bond. [CBN/Trib via Grub Street]
