Chefs' Cooking Tips

Food-Network-mag-cover.jpgEver wonder what your favorite chefs think about when they step into the kitchen? The new issue of Food Network Magazine talks to some of the top chefs in the country to compile the "100 greatest cooking tips of all time," and some of Chicago's own are represented, including Paul Kahan, Charlie Trotter, Giuseppe Tentori, Paul Virant, Ryan Poli, Mindy Segal and Grant Achatz. "If you keep it simple and buy ingredients at farmers' markets," said Tony Mantuano, "the food can pretty much take care of itself." If it actually cooks itself, we're golden. [FN]
