Cop Shop To Become Thai Town Center?

030911_thai%20town%20center.jpgOver the summer, Arun Sampanthavivat announced that he was teaming up with a group of investors and the city of Chicago to build Thai Town Center, a community center featuring regional Thai food. Now, it looks like that plan is picking up steam. Mayor Daley introduced a plan today to sell a former police station at 4461 N. Pulaski, along with a nearby parking lot, to the group for $990,000. The plan now goes to the City Council Finance Committee. [Clout Street]
