South Loop to Get Pita Heaven; No Frushi at Sprout; More!

SOUTH LOOP— Your falafel prayers have been answered, South Loopers. The blog Sloopin recently noticed new signs for Pita Heaven in the windows at 1250 S. Michigan, the same space where Pita Corner tried to open a new restaurant last summer. [Sloopin]

LOOP—Indian food for breakfast? Indian food for breakfast. On Fridays only, Bombay Wraps, 122 N. Wells, will be wrapping up breakfast (and by that we mean they're starting to serve it). From 7:30 to 9:30AM, the Indian spot will be offering an egg bhurji wrap and an omlet masala wrap to go with your morning chai tea. [EaterWire]

LINCOLN PARK—Some new details have emerged about brunch service at Sprout, which is set to begin on March 20: Chef Dale Levitski is working on a house-smoked sturgeon platter, foie gras deviled eggs, and a Green City Market egg-white omelet. There won't be frushi, and brunch is adults-only. ("It's not that we're being haters ... we just don't have a kids menu, says Levitski.") [Time Out]
