On March 8 at noon, Iron Chef Marc Forgione, of Restaurant Marc Forgione in NYC, will host a live cooking demonstration and tasting at Macy's on State Street to celebrate his inauguration into Macy's Culinary Council. The Iron Chef won his title on the 2010 season of The Next Iron Chef, and is the youngest American chef to earn a Michelin star, receiving the honor in both 2010 and 2011. Forgione will join 16 other culinary masters on the council, including Chicago's own Rick Bayless, Gale Gand and Takashi Yagihashi. Reservations are required as seating is limited, so if you want to snag a spot, make sure to call today. [EaterWire]
