So it looks like the super harsh one-star review Time Out Chicago gave Grahamwich really sent a message because Graham Elliot revamped the menu at his quaint River North sandwich shop. Even better? He's retooling the pricing structure.
According to TOC, Elliot scrapped every sandwich, save the grilled cheese and pastrami reuben (the only two sandwiches TOC's Julia Kramer liked). In their place, the menu will carry new sandwiches like a lamb gyro with English cucumber and tzatziki sauce; Waldorf chicken with flame grapes and candied walnuts; and Pacific tuna with roasted pineapple and wasabi peas. Elliot tweeted a picture of the full menu.
And sandwiches will now range between $7 and $10 while sides are either $3 or $5. So looks like lunch just got a little more affordable. The new menu will launch April 4, not April 1, according to a spokeswoman for Grahamwich.
