Who needs a bar crawl when you can have a food crawl? Rogers Park and Edgewater are pairing up to host their annual Taste of RogersEdge on April 14 from 5-9 p.m. Over 20 diverse restaurants are involved in the walking crawl which begins at The Morgan at Loyola Station.
Participants will receive a passport and a map of the locations before they head out. Four of the restaurants will serve at The Morgan or The Flats, and the rest will be ready to serve from their place of business.
This year's line-up is a good one so make sure to pace yourself. Restaurants include: Awash Ethiopian Restaurant, Blue Elephant, Carmen’s Pizza, Chimney Cake Island, Chipotle, Ethiopian Diamond, Gino’s North, Habibi Restaurant, m.henrietta, Metropolis Coffee Company, Pumping Company, Red Mango, Rice Thai, Royal Ethiopian Coffee, Rub BBQ Company,Shabuka, SP Kabob, Starbucks, Summer Noodle, Sweet Attilas, Thai Grill, The New 400 Theatre and Uncommon Ground.
Space is limited and tickets are $25 in advance, $35 the day of the event. All proceeds go towards supporting the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and Rogers Park Business Alliance.
