You may not think about it, but when you dine, the kitchen staff would sure love a tip. And often, that tip comes in the form of beers. The Publican rings a big bell every time someone buys the kitchen staff a round. This is a practice chef Brian Huston picked up at East Coast Grill in Cambridge, Mass. While the Publican has a "6 pack for the kitchen" listed on its menu, feel free to ask other restaurants if you can buy the chefs a round. But make sure they wait until after service to imbibe.
