RIVER WEST—Winemaker Cinzia Travaglini from Travaglini Winery in Piemonte, Italy will be on hand at Piccolo Sogno tomorrow evening to pair wines with chef Tony Priolo's Italian food. The reception starts at 6:30 p.m., and the dinner, which costs $85, begins at 7:00. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN—The Wild Pug closed in November, but it looks like the Broadway location will get new life as the Cairo Restaurant & Lounge, which will feature "international food, live entertainment, special events, open late night, and high quality fresh food at reasonable prices." [Uptown Update]

RIVER NORTH—Remember that $225 patty melt that David Burke's Primehouse was pimping last week? Since it went on the menu Friday, two different diners ordered it. One of them reportedly got it as an appetizer and followed it up with a steak. [312 Dining Diva]
