Emanuel's Food Plan for Chicago

Rahm-election-night.jpgWhen Rahm Emanuel gets sworn in as mayor of Chicago in May, he will start to tackle a number of issues plaguing the city, including hunger and obesity. During the campaign, Emanuel laid out a plan to help people living in "food deserts" to have more immediate access to grocery stores. He also wants to get food-truck legislation passed, aid urban agricultural projects and wants to make Chicago the most bike friendly city in the U.S. Sounds like some good changes may be coming to the city.
