Remember back in the day when people used to line up overnight for tickets to Pink Floyd and Aerosmith concerts? No? Did we just date ourselves? Either way, you may want to get in that mindset come Friday at noon because there's likely going to be a mad rush for tickets to this year's Baconfest.
That's right, tickets for the April 9 porcine pig out, featuring more than 50 of Chicago's top chefs at the UIC Forum, go on sale this Friday, Feb. 25, at noon. The $65 general admission tickets (VIP passes are sold out) will be available through the Baconfest website and if you haven't already signed up for the mailing list, do it now. Organizers will send out an early-warning note. Get ready for some pig people!
