Yesterday we told you that Stephanie Izard was up for Food & Wine's new award, the "People Best New Chef" award. Well, now that the full list of 100 chefs from across the nation has been revealed, we can count four more great Chicago chefs.
The list, broken up by regional categories, names Ryan Poli (Perennial), Chris Pandel (The Bristol), Anthony Martin (Tru) and Brian Huston (The Publican)—along with Izard—as five of the 10 nominees from the Great Lakes category.
All in all, there are 10 categories representing Food & Wine's picks of the best rising chefs and the winners from each region will be voted on by the people online. To vote for your favorite Chicago chef, hop over to CNN's Eatocracy, which partnered with F&W, to vote.
