Brendan Sodikoff's forthcoming retro diner, Au Cheval, will actually look like it's been there a while. The Gilt Bar owner said the former Greektown Gyros space has been remodeled to look as if it's a well-worn restaurant. But the food sounds like it'll be a mix of classic and modern that will be served at dinnertime Wednesday through Saturday to start and possibly move to around-the-clock service down the line. [Dish]
