Some chefs nab all the headlines, but others spend night after night cooking great food and should get more attention. That's the idea behind Blue 13's "Working Chefs Dinner" set for Jan. 9. That night, exec chef Chris Curren will bring together four talented Chicago chefs—John Manion, Michael Noll (Elate), Mark Steuer (The Bedford) and Matt Troost (Three Aces)—for a 10-course prix-fixe meal.
The $120 dinner will see each chef create two courses throughout the night, which has seatings available between 6 and 9. To sweeten the deal, Blue 13 co-owner Dan Marunowski will team with Michael Simon (Acadia) to create a unique cocktail list to pair with the menu, with drinks going for $10 each. Tickets are currently available and can be purchased through PayPal via Blue13's website.
