Toy Soldier Stolen, Dumped from Lady Gregory's

Apparently someone wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit. Lady Gregory's, an Irish bar and restaurant on the Clark Street corridor in Andersonville, had twin toy soldiers standing guard outside the front doors around Christmas. But just days before, the restaurant posted to its Facebook page that one of the soldiers had been stolen while the other was damaged.

However, shortly after the initial post, the missing soldier turned up, but out back in an alley standing guard over a large, industrial waste bin; certainly not the distinguished post he must have been used to. In the second post, Lady Gregory's wrote, "Looks like someone went on a little journey last night." Glad he was back in time to celebrate the holiday.
