Epic Burger Opening in Gold Coast, Streeterville

Epic Burger, the continually expanding burger chain, will open two new locations in the Gold Coast and Streeterville this month. While both restaurants will feature Epic’s all natural burgers, shakes and smoothies, there will be some menu and design modifications made to better reflect each neighborhood.

The Gold Coast restaurant, located at 40 E. Pearson, will offer a breakfast selections from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Alongside its regular menu will be morning items such as the Epic Egg Sandwich, assorted pastries and Intelligentsia’s fresh-brewed coffee. The location will also have mezzanine dining overlooking Pearson and Wabash streets for diners looking for a view.

Among the various items on its “mindful menu,” customers can choose from 100 percent all natural beef and turkey burgers, chicken breasts and portabella mushroom sandwiches. Additional toppings include cage-free organic fried eggs, nitrate free bacon and all natural Wisconsin cheeses. The fresh, hand-cut fries are cooked in zero trans fats, and the shakes and smoothies are made with all natural ice cream, fat-free frozen yogurt and organic milk.

The Gold Coast Epic Burger will open to the public on Dec. 19, while the Streeterville location (227 E. Ontario), will open on Dec. 12.
