Looks like it's not all good news about Morton's today. Turns out Sam Hurd, a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, was arrested outside a Morton's Steakhouse after allegedly striking a long-term deal in the restaurant with an undercover agent to buy between five kilos and 10 kilos of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana. According to the complaint, Hurd has been dealing for several months and allegedly sold drugs to "dozens" of other NFL players. Hurd signed a three-year contract worth up to $5.15 million to the Bears this summer and got a $1.35 million signing bonus so was this more about the rush? [The Daily]
